StumbleUpon: Conversations
Challenge
Revamp the app's basic sharing tool to create a more unique experience. Drive an increase in shares created and utilize email and push notifications to foster user re-engagement.
Solution
Most people tend to share to a small handful of friends on a repeated basis. We developed a chat system where users can quickly share to your most frequently-used contacts, even if they aren't StumbleUpon members. The chat interface creates a re-engagement loop when people return to the app to comment or respond to the conversation, centered around the original article or page.
